COMPETITION INFORMATION
1. Dates and Venue
The 1st Asian Martial Arts Games 2009 in Bangkok Karate Competition will be held from 30th April to 2nd May, 2009
1.1 Competition Site
The Karate competition will take place at the Hua Mark Indoor Stadium, at Ramkhamhaeng Road, Bangkok.
1.2 Training Site
The training Venues will be provided to allow the participants to practice before the competition.
2. Events
The 1st Asian Martial Arts Games Karate Competition will be conducted in two (2) courts and will consist of the following events:
2.1 Men: 6 Events
Individual Kumite Categories
1. 55 kg and Below
2. 60 kg and Below
3. 67 kg and Below
4. 75 kg and Below
5. 84 kg and Below
6. 84 kg Above
2.2 Women: 4 Events
Individual Kumite Categories
1. 50 kg and Below
2. 55 kg and Below
3. 61 kg and Below
4. 61 kg Above
